SwingShoes and Ministry of Balboa are once again thrilled to welcome Anni & Gašper as teachers. This time it is for the whole of round 5. They will be teaching four different classes and a workshop.

Balboa for Advanced Plus
Location and time: Festsalen (Haveselskabetsvej 3A), Mondays 19.30-21.30
Classes start on 20 October and end 8 December 2025
Price: 1095 kr.
Being a good dancer is about clear technique, and being a good partner is about listening and flow. Balboa for Advanced Plus offers material rarely covered in regular classes—topics you’d encounter at The Balboa Experiment or master-level events. To join, you should know Bal-Swing fundamentals, feel comfortable in close position, and be ready to engage with questions and observations. These sessions are ideal if you seek personal growth, deeper skills, or preparation for teaching, performing, or competitions.
Your registration is subject to the teachers evaluation and if they find that your level is not according to the class description, your registration will be annulled or moved to another class.
Balboa for Swing Dancers
Location and time: Støberiet (Idrætsforeningen), Wednesdays 19.00-21.00
Classes start on 22 October and end 10 December 2025
Price: 650 kr.
In these sessions we’ll help swing dancers explore the mechanics and magic of balboa. Building on your knowledge of musicality, syncopation, flow, and stretch, we’ll guide you through this close-position shuffle dance and its unique movement qualities. Balboa for Swing Dancers is a chance to learn a new style, transition smoothly from lindy, and elevate your musicality and dynamics to a new level. No prior Balboa experience is required, we only expect you to have taken at least some classes in another swing dance before.
Sweet-bal Sessions

Classes start on 23 October and end 11 December 2025

We are opening Slowbal courses under the name “Sweet”, as referring to the sweet music we usually dance Slowbal on. It is an open level which means that previous knowledge is not necessary. In case you already know some Slowbal, then you are welcome to join – you will get the chance to sharpen your Slowball skills, and you will help others to grow faster.
Balboa for Intermediate Dancers and up

From basics into complex moves with ease. This level will prepare you to become an advanced dancer, i.e. being fluent with transitions from close to open swing, and back, understanding mechanics of redirections, usage of connection points, getting better in turning and spinning, gaining musicality awareness and much more. We will share our love for this dance and learning by having fun is the quality that we want to achieve in the sessions to come.
